The Brado: A Custom WooCommerce Store for 1,785 Jewellery Products, Built to Sell in Bulk
The Brado is an Indian fashion jewellery brand, “proud of Indian tradition”, selling earrings, rings, mangalsutras, necklaces, bangles, handbags and more at thebrado.com. Digitruction designed and built the store, including its custom theme, bulk-deal pricing engine, checkout and marketing integrations.
- 1,785products across 12 categories
- 6“buy any” price tiers, from 2 to 7 items
- 3sales channels fed from one catalogue: website, Meta and Google Shopping
- 0.08shomepage server response time
What The Brado needed
Fashion jewellery is a high-volume, low-ticket business. Most pieces sell for a few hundred rupees, customers like to mix several designs in one order, and many shoppers in India prefer to pay on delivery. The store had to:
- Handle a very large catalogue: 617 earrings, 308 rings, 244 mangalsutras and hundreds of necklaces, sets, chains and bracelets, all easy to browse by style and finish.
- Reward bigger baskets automatically, so a customer buying 5 pairs of earrings pays less per piece than one buying a single pair, without coupon codes.
- Make checkout fast and trusted for both cash-on-delivery and prepaid buyers, and nudge customers towards prepaid orders.
- Feed every product to ads and shopping channels without maintaining separate catalogues.
What we built
1. A custom WooCommerce theme for browsing at scale
We built a dedicated theme, the-brado, around how jewellery shoppers browse: by category (earrings, rings, mangalsutra, jewellery sets), by sub-style (jhumkas, studs, Kashmiri, Korean hoops, tassels) and by finish (gold polish, silver polish, rose gold polish). Every product card shows the sale price, the saving, its star rating and its bulk-deal prices at a glance.
2. A “buy any N” bulk-deal pricing engine
We developed a custom plugin, Brado Bulk Deals, that applies tiered per-piece pricing across a whole collection. On a ₹273 ring the card shows, for example, “Buy any 2 & get @ ₹173”, “Buy any 5 & get @ ₹93” and “Buy any 7 & get @ ₹62”. Customers can mix designs within a deal collection, and the cart recalculates automatically. Dedicated bulk-deal collections exist for each category, plus combo and “₹99” collections. The same plugin adds custom Elementor widgets the team uses to build sale pages without a developer: deal banners, category and collection sliders, a colour and finish slider and product carousels, with lazy-loaded backgrounds to keep pages fast.
3. A faster checkout with a prepaid incentive
We integrated GoKwik’s one-click checkout, which is built for Indian shoppers and supports both cash on delivery and prepaid payments. A site-wide offer, “Prepaid Order = 5% Off & Fast Air Delivery”, gives customers a clear reason to pay online, which reduces the cost and risk of COD returns.
4. One catalogue, three sales channels
All 1,785 products sync automatically to Meta (Facebook and Instagram Shops, with the Meta Pixel for ad tracking) and to Google Shopping through Google Listings & Ads. Google Site Kit connects Search Console and Analytics. Adding a product to the store makes it ready for ads and shopping campaigns without extra work.
5. Custom sales reporting
We built Brado Sales Reports, a custom reporting plugin inside the WooCommerce admin, so the team can follow sales and order outcomes without exporting raw data by hand. In a business where many orders are cash on delivery, knowing which orders were delivered, cancelled or returned matters as much as knowing how many were placed.
6. Speed and support built in
The homepage responds in about 0.08 seconds from the server. Customers get order tracking, WhatsApp support and an email support desk from every page, which builds the trust a new D2C brand needs.
Technology used
WordPress, WooCommerce, a custom theme, custom PHP plugins (bulk-deal pricing and sales reports), Elementor Pro, GoKwik checkout, Facebook for WooCommerce, the Meta Pixel, Google Listings & Ads and Google Site Kit.
What this means for your business
If you sell many low-priced products, the real gains come from bigger baskets, a checkout customers trust and a catalogue that feeds your ads automatically. We design the store, build the custom features off-the-shelf plugins can’t handle, and connect your marketing channels from day one.
